Please join us for a curator’s tour of our current exhibition, Image & Identity: Early colonial photographs – views of Ceylon/Sri Lanka and Oxfordshire, curated by scholar Shalini Amerasinghe Ganendra. This exhibition showcases two photographic collections, not previously exhibited: the Jermyn collection of photographs from Ceylon (present day Sri Lanka) and the Underhill collection of photographs of Oxfordshire, taken during the late 19th and early 20th century. The tour and tea will take place on Friday 18 November, 11am-12pm, at the Museum of Oxford. The curator will introduce the exhibition, and there will be informal Q&As over tea and biscuits.

Free but booking essential.
