Join us on Saturday 8 October to enjoy one of classical music's most uplifting pieces: Dvořák's gorgeous New World Symphony. Optimism, energy and a world-famous cor anglais solo come together in this iconic, much-loved work, celebrated following its New York-premiere as “the greatest symphony ever composed in this country."

We'll be performing this delightful piece at Dorchester Abbey alongside works by Rachmaninov and Stanford. Don't miss it!

“The newspapers are saying that no composer has ever had such a triumph. I was in a box, the hall was filled with the highest New York society, the people clapped so much that I had to acknowledge the applause like a king." - Antonín Dvořák
