Join us for free activities at the Oxfordshire Museum. There will be gluing, cutting and painting fun as we show you how to make everything from bats to ancient artefacts. No booking required and everyone is welcome.

Tuesday 25th October, Under 5 yrs session 10.30 am – 12.00
‘Batty Bats’
Bats like to flap about the Museum garden at night, so we thought we would make some. Join the fun making twinkly paper bats to flap about your house.

Tuesday 25th October, 5 yrs and over session 2.00pm – 4.00pm
‘Mirror Mirror’
Come and learn about our ancient Oxfordshire mirror and the mysteries that surround it. You can see the original in the Museum and make your own with metallic papers.

Wednesday 26th October, 5yrs and over session 10.30 am – 12.30pm
‘Night at the Museum’
We know the garden is a busy place at night, with all sorts of creatures enjoying themselves. Using paint, create your own night-time scene of nocturnal creatures.

Thursday 27th October, 5 yrs and over session 2.00pm – 4.00 pm
‘Hibernating Hedgehogs’
Make a pine cone hedgehog, learn about what makes a good a home for a hedgehog to live in over winter.
