Workshop description: Photography developers can be created using plants, to make your own eco-friendly and cheap photographic chemicals. During this workshop participants will learn how to use plants to make their own eco-friendly photography developer, to develop a roll of black and white film.

Following an introduction to the technique, its history, and a demonstration of the process, participants will create their own photography developer and develop a roll of 35mm black and white film. This will then be fixed with conventional photographic fix. At the end of this two hour session, participants will leave with a developed film and a handout recapping the process and detailing a list of online resources.

Level of experience required to take part: This workshop is an intermediate workshop which is aimed at participants with some photography knowledge.
