Workshop description: Eco-printing is a process which draws the dyes naturally present in plants and flowers, to create prints on paper. Leaves and flowers are bound between sheets of paper before being heated in water containing rusty objects to create your prints.
During this workshop you will work with a range of leaves and flowers to learn how to make your own eco-prints. Following an introduction to the technique and its history, and a demonstration of the process, participants will create their own eco-prints. At the end of this two hour session, participants will leave with a range of prints, and a handout recapping the process and detailing a list of online resources.
This workshop is happening in support of Oxfordshire Great Big Green Week.
Level of experience required to take part: This workshop is an introductory workshop which is aimed at beginners.
