Schubert & Co. (see also Event 46 on Sunday 23rd October) is an ensemble formed by Oxford Lieder’s Artistic Director, Sholto Kynoch, and a company of renowned singers, who come together to recreate the original spirit of the ‘Schubertiade’. Gathered around the piano, they perform glorious partsongs that were some of the composer’s most personal works, as well as solo songs and works by his friends and contemporaries.
