Soprano Claire Booth is another illustrious Trinity College alumna (see Event 27), and is also an accomplished pianist. She gives the second in our series of self-accompanied recitals, with a programme that includes Schumann’s evergreen cycle Frauenliebe und-leben. She also performs songs by the Venezuelan-French composer Reynaldo Hahn, who famously accompanied himself in recitals and recordings of his own hugely popular songs.
