Pianist, researcher and writer Ceri Owen is currently working on a new biography of Vaughan Williams. She gives an illustrated lecture-recital that casts a fresh light on his relationships with his two wives, his female students and other female colleagues, illuminating their neglected work and the ways they shaped his creative life, as much as he shaped theirs. She is joined by Stephanie Wake-Edwards, a recent graduate of the prestigious Jette Parker Young Artists Programme at the Royal Opera House.
