The launch of Sylvia Vetta’s memoir

This free event is on Tuesday October 18 from 6-8pm in the bar.

Sylvia’s memoir is seasoned with facts, stirred with love, sprinkled with insight, hers is the story of a life lived in the cauldron of change, for women, for the working class and for people of colour. But with recipes and fabulous endorsements.

“Lively and delicious.” – Yasmin Alibhai-Brown

“An astonishing life story.” – Prof Rana Mitter,

“Touching, inspiring and approachable.” – Dr Flair Donglai Shi,

“Amusing and entertaining.” – Diana Bell (artist),

Sylvia hopes to provoke a lively discussion with the audience on the subject of Town, Gown and County and why we should approach each other as unique individuals.
