This year’s annual exhibition includes wood engravings, linocuts and woodcuts by some of finest printmakers from this country and abroad.

What unites them is a commitment to making images which combine personal vision, with delight in using an exacting medium. The exhibition is chosen by a jury of three engravers, who have to select from submissions made by both elected Members of the Society and those aspiring to membership, including young engravers whose work often pushes the boundaries of printmaking. It travels to galleries around the country, starting at Bankside in London and includes showings in Devon, Perth, Suffolk and Yorkshire as well as Oxford.
