Join us at Modern Art Oxford for an an all-day event of creative activities exploring arts education and celebrating the visionary artist, educator and activist Ruth Asawa.
Join guest speakers Emily Pringle (Head of Learning at Tate), writer, curator and editor Sophia Hao, and Modern Art Oxford’s Young Creatives for a day of workshops, activities and talks about current experiences of arts education. Across the day, re-imagine and explore future possibilities through alternative practices and collaborative pedagogies.
Participate in making activities inspired by artist and educator Ruth Asawa and hear the gallery's Young Creatives (aged 16-19) share their group manifesto for alternative arts education practice. Plus enjoy a tour of our current exhibition Ruth Asawa: Citizen of the Universe.
