Explore the county’s creative talent in artists’ studios, gardens and pop-up galleries across Oxfordshire, throughout May (7th-29th) in over 400 venues and on-line. With painting, sculpture, print-making, photography, design, ceramics, jewellery, mosaic, wood-turning, textiles, glass & more on show, Artweeks is an opportunity to browse the visual arts in a relaxed and friendly way, meeting the artists and designer-makers and seeing them in action. And all for free.
Be inspired, diverted and delighted; have a go, and even buy an original work of art to take home.

Celebrating their 40th anniversary this year, Oxfordshire Artweeks is the UK’s oldest and biggest artist open studios & pop-up exhibition event. During the festival some artists team up to host group shows while others open their studios: pop-up exhibitions are often an easy way to discover the hidden talent of a collection of artists in a single space, whilst a visit to an artist’s studio can offer a more in-depth insight into an artist’s practice.

In the first week of the 2022 festival (7th-15th May) studios open across Oxford;
in the second week (14th-22nd May) you can explore South Oxfordshire locations
& in the third week (21st-29th May) venues in North Oxfordshire welcome you in.
An on-line showcase is available throughout whole the festival period.

All venues are drop-in, free to visit and have committed to be Covid-secure.

Opening hours are generally 11am-6pm: they vary however, so please confirm the times for individual venues before travelling and check here for any changes since publication of the festival guide.
