Part of the programme of online monthly talks from Thame Museum. Join Doug Kennedy, environmentalist, author and wildlife photographer, for his beautifully illustrated talk about the River Thame - A River in Recovery. The talk describes the river, its setting, wildlife and interesting buildings from above Aylesbury to Thame and Waterstock. Doug will also discuss the serious pollution incident of 2013 and the work being done for its recovery, as well as the new wetland and wildlife developments and the opposing pressures from housing and population.
The talk starts at 7.30pm and will last an hour to include questions.
