The Disappearing World: Paintings and sculptures by David Cotton

West Ox Arts is delighted to be exhibiting David Cotton’s collection of work “The Disappearing World” from 12 March to 16 April 2022.

David considers making art an emotional craft and draws inspiration for his paintings directly from the surrounding environment and his experiences. Now based in the West Midlands, David has travelled extensively round the world and lived overseas. His collection of paintings and sculptures are inspired by David’s love of the outdoors and his lifelong experience growing up around animals.

His work is visually entrancing, combining light and shade in the rendering of his expertly captured subjects to seduce the viewer into a world of magical enchantment. His works are notable for their perfect finish and tactile nature, bearing witness to his great craftsmanship.
