Venue, Timing and Cost
Come get ya zine on at this free 2 hour workshop with Lu Williams from Grrrl Zine Fair and the gals of Powersuit Collective.
About the event:
This workshop is open to everyone (although we do have an age guidance of 14+ due to some of the content we may explore in the workshop).
In the 2 hours we have together, we aim to create a safe space where those participating can choose to explore and express their experiences through the art of zine making. Absolutely no previous experience in zine making necessary and you have the power to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. The most important thing here is having fun!
Some possible topics we may discuss: C/W - sexual harassment, times when you've felt uncomfortable in the workspace/at school, things you've witnessed as a bystander etc.
This workshop is part of the research and development phase of Powersuit Collectives new theatre show. There may be someone at the workshop taking pictures and/or video recordings. As this is YOUR space we will never share images of you without your permission. Please let us know at the workshop if you would not like us to share your image on our socials or if you have any questions please drop us a line at powersuitcollective@gmail.com
All materials will be included.

Powersuit Collective
Powersuit Collective is a feminist, queer group of cis women who create thoughtful and empowering pieces of art and performance theatre based in Oxfordshire. Their combined values include smashing the patriarchy, empowering marginalised voices and championing intersectional feminism. Their latest installation at the Old Fire Station as part of Offbeat Festival was called "Numbers For Girls" and centred around statistics about women and their everyday experiences in the world. They are currently working on a new theatre show which they hope will be brought to fruition in 2022.
