Suitable for beginners and / or those with some experience, the course will cover a range of approaches to fine line and tonal engraving on end-grain boxwood and lemonwood, as well as inking, printing and hand burnishing (on Japanese and European papers) and printing on an Albion relief press.
Participants should bring sketches and / or photographs that could be used as the basis for creating small-scale black and white engraved images. The course will also include an introduction to the rich potential of creative collage using wood engraved prints; it also forms a basis for those wishing to join Oxford Printmakers as future members.

She exhibits widely, has won some 30 national and international awards, has works in public and private collections worldwide and commissions include engravings for the British Museum, British Library, V&A and Sotheby’s. Both exhibitions each toured other UK museums for two years.
