Thame Museum's Online Talks - The Lenborough Hoard a talk by Dr. Susan Fern. Hear all about this amazing hoard of well over 5,000 coins discovered in 2014. Believed to have been buried around 1030-1035 AD, the coins depict the heads of both Ethelred the Unready and King Canute.
Former archaeologist, and author of several history books, Susan Fern presently teaches part time, ancient language for the University of Oxford. She is currently working on a novel about the man who killed Richard III.
