The Jam Factory, Art Centre

I am a Self taught artist - I previously worked in homelessness and with refugees.
I still pursue that sense of care and support which can be seen in some of my art.
Most of my art is pen and ink with some watercolour.
The attention to detail is there to focus the viewer to each part of the work.
Underpinning are structures that represent security or lack of. This is a very big part of my art. All work comes from a personal perspective and emotional well being, whether mine or society at large.
The energy of the pictures can be seen by my unique method of illustrating with a pen.
Any wall in a house, cafe or gallery will draw the inquisitive to look.
My art is not a “ walk by and glance at “ exercise . It warrants attention and a moment to take time out to involve yourself.
