THE MOTHERHOOD | In Four Months is a photographic journey of the first four months since we emerged from national lockdown.

In May last year THE MOTHERHOOD exhibition ISOLATION went live. A collection of photographs taken throughout the (little did we know then) first, lockdown.

In January 2021 Philippa James began to set monthly challenges for THE MOTHERHOOD photography group, to document their emergence from another national lock-down.

With a different prompt for each month (January Behind the Window, February Self Portrait, March Movement and April Documentary) the women of THE MOTHERHOOD have created new work.

Photographer and artist, Philippa James has curated this exhibition to showcase their talent, their unwavering creativity and the exceptional photographs they have produced. We hope you enjoy it.
