Hesper Bunch and Caroline Evans are final year students on the MA Artist Teacher Practice at Oxford Brookes University. This fascinating exhibition showcases their art in the context of their dissertation research.

Hesper’s engagement with pyrography (the art of decorating wood by hand) and wood carving techniques explore personal and sensory experiences of a sense of place in the Oxfordshire countryside whilst Caroline seeks to capture and replicate the transitory effects of light and shadows on surfaces through experimental mixed media painting.
