Finding your form 7-11 years
Learn two techniques for creating sculptures. Take your first steps in carving by learning how to create a modernist masterpiece from a bar of soap! Be inspired by the smooth forms of Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore. Use safe and simple tools to shape your soap and reveal the artwork within. Then find out how to build a sculpture using aluminium foil to create the human form. Take inspiration from the exaggerated figures of Alberto Giacometti. All materials provided. Age: 7 to 11 years. Prompt start at 3.45pm to 5pm at Bayworth Chapel in Bayworth (5 min drive from Sunningwell School of Art).
£5 per ticket including Ticketsource booking fee. This workshop is supported by the Doris Field Charitable Trust and Lord Faringdon Charitable Trust.
