Wagner’s Siegfried Idyll was composed to celebrate the birth of his first son, Siegfried. We’ll perform this joyous work alongside Glazunov’s evocative Intermezzo Romantico, Coleridge-Taylor’s lively Danse nègre, and Fauré’s Four Songs, sung by the arresting Ilona Domnich

This is one of a series of socially distanced chamber concerts at Dorchester Abbey.
To allow as many as possible to attend, we are offering two identical concerts of about 1 hour with no interval – one starting at 6pm, the other starting at 8 pm. Please select the time you prefer.
