Sketching with Jezella Piggott

10am to 12pm commencing Tuesday 12 January (Places are still available at pro rated fees after this date)

Sketching is at the heart of the creative process so for the next five weeks let your creative process flow using materials you have at home.
This course will be largely drawing based, including hand studies based on the work of Da Vinci and Michelangelo.

A time based work – ‘Following the sun’ – drawing several windows onto the page and drawing in the changes of light through your window scenery.

We will also try a collage piece in which you will be sent your very own ‘collage kit’ which can be printed at home/posted to you if you don’t have access to a printer.

I’ve also included some meditation drawings in the course, using familiar objects in the home.

We will also be trying some layered drawings using tracing paper, pen, leaves/bits of nature from your local outdoors/garden.

Overall this course will give you the time and space to experiment with your sketchbook with a variety of techniques. By the end of the course you will have developed a range of approaches to drawing and any level/skill set can take part.
