Join AUKO’s new Poetry Club led by Poet Oliver James Lomax starting in December 2020. Take part from the comfort of your home by post, phone, email or Zoom. Share your own work or relax and enjoy the work of others each month. The Poetry Club is flexible and open to everyone aged over 50 either with traditional connections (take part by post or phone) or digital connections (take part by email or Zoom).
The AUKO Poetry Club will launch on Saturday 12th December:
By post/ email: read a selection of poems and learn more about Oliver and the club
By phone/ zoom: join a live poetry reading and Q&A with Oliver on zoom from 10-11am.
Then enjoy skills development and group discussion on the second Saturday of each month: 10th January, 8th February, 14th March 2021.
The Winter programme will culminate in a celebration of work and we hope to raise funding to publish a new poetry collection to tour around local libraries.
