Have you ever thought about the people and stories left out of the history we take for granted?

Join Uncomfortable Oxford for a thought-provoking guided tour of Mariana Castillo Deball: Between making and knowing something.

Explore the hidden meanings behind artworks, and the little-known histories of female anthropologists connected to museum collections in the city of Oxford.

Uncomfortable Oxford is a local organisation dedicated to highlighting uncomfortable histories and their modern legacies. Founded by academics, it specialises in walking tours that spark discussions about race, gender, class, and imperialism.

Please note: we are currently working on the assumption that this event will take place online.
