This Sunday, 26th July 2020, at 6pm - in the comfort of your own home.

Please join us this coming Sunday evening for the Orchestra of St John’s first outing since the beginning of the lockdown. The performance comes from the beautiful surroundings of New House in Oxfordshire. Robert Jackson will introduce the house and garden in the interval.
The concert was recorded yesterday and will be premiered on Sunday at 6pm on the Orchestra's YouTube channel (once in YouTube, search for: Orchestra of St John’s).

If you have a smart TV, you should be able to use it to watch the performance with a much better sound and picture quality that you might get on a computer or laptop. (Again, go into YouTube and search for: Orchestra of St John’s).

Violinist Jan Schmolck, orchestra leader, and pianist Tim Horton play Schubert Violin Sonatina in D major and Fauré Violin Sonata No.1 in A major.
