A workshop exploring different viewpoints and horizon lines in interior and exterior space. This workshop features a live draw-along on zoom, combined with the opportunity to work individually outdoors and indoors and culminates in a group project. You will be able to see examples of how different artists approach the topic of viewpoints and we will discuss and reflect on what we can learn from these different approaches. You will have the opportunity to create independent work utilising drawing, collage, painting and mixed media to create a series of works about horizons. You will be able to investigate your surroundings in either interior or exterior space, create your interpretation and receive feedback on your work.

Materials:

10 sheets of A5 paper e.g. Daler Rowney A5 heavyweight cartridge or watercolour paper.

Collage materials suitable for landscape e.g. brown paper, painted papers

Pen

Pritt stick

Pencils, drawing and painting materials of your choosing.
