Get ready for Sex, Drag and Sausage rolls this June at Pegasus Theatre!

Following on from their acclaimed FOUR CORNERS, BLINK return with GIRL MEETS BOY, an ‘adventurous and radical’ new show about the complexity of dating and what it really means to find The One.

The 5 energetic Director-performers bring you their signature blend of uninhibited dance set to bespoke beats, intimate storytelling and ‘meaty, universal subject matter’ and invite you to enter into the raw and raucous game of love.

Set in the weird and wonderful world of millennial mating and seen through their neurodiverse lense, the group attempt to answer the age-old question: is there a happy ever after for everyone?

Expect relatable confessions, mind-bending love Gurus, progressive approaches to inclusivity (including the world’s first known MAKATON iPad rap-poetry) and plenty of real talk from BLINK’S hilarious Drag Queen Auntie Ayo, who both unravels and threads the show together.

The company have collaborated with acclaimed artists Caroline Horton, Polarbear, Sarah Blanc and Debora Minà to create GIRL MEETS BOY and commissioned Visual Artist Roly Carline and Sound Artist Bulblet to create a flamboyant party for your ears and eyes. The first seeds of the production were sown during China Plate’s Dark Room residency which BLINK were selected for in 2018. Since then, GIRL MEETS BOY has been generously supported by Redbridge Drama Centre, Battersea Arts Centre and Arts Council England.
