Venue, Timing and Cost
Year 7-9 Art Students at Lord Williams's School Thame were invited to create an Art Re-cycle sculpture to communicate their concerns about the environment. The only stipulation was that the project had to be small and portable and no bigger than a metre in size. The students themselves evaluated each others work and chose winners in each of their tutor groups. First, second and third prize winners from each group received prizes of art equipment.
These sensational art recycle pieces can now be seen in the temporary exhibitions room in the newly renovated Thame Museum. It is hoped that this wonderful exhibition by these students will attract attention and will get people thinking about how they recycle things that would normally be discarded.
