Moonrakers

Moonrakers launch their new album "Ebb & Flow" with a line up that includes their new member, the renowned cellist Jacqui Johnson. On harp is Eleanor Dunsdon, on guitar/bouzouki/whistles is Jon Bennett, and on vocals is Sarah Fell.

The tour calendar for 2020 is already at 22 concert gigs, but they're particularly thrilled to be playing 'at home' for the launch.Moonrakers pride themselves on having brought traditional and contemporary folk music to new audiences in festivals, arts centres, churches and village halls across the UK in recent years. With songs and tunes from the UK and Irish tradition as well as their own compositions, they’ve been described as “startlingly talented” (Oxford Times), with five albums of "exquisite music "(BBC) and "truly wonderful" (Wycombe Festival) performances. In the last two years they've played at Towersey, Broadstairs, Bunkfest and Trinity festivals and their previous albums have received glowing reviews in the music press (“The real deal”, The Living Tradition; “Uplifting, sensitively crafted songs and tunes” FATEA magazine) .To see and hear more, go to www.moonrakers.net
