Venue, Timing and Cost
Welcome! These classes are run in the spacious Clifton Hampden village hall and conducted in a friendly, relaxed environment with emphasis placed on making newcomers feel at ease and welcome. Whether you are an absolute beginner or have previous experience with painting or drawing, you will find my approach to teaching an encouraging, informative, creatively satisfying and enjoyable experience.
Suitable for all levels of ability and experience, these classes cover all the basic elements of painting, including tone, composition and colour. Students learn to observe and discuss art works, continually drawing inspiration and references from art throughout history while exploring different techniques and concepts within exciting Projects. We also explore ways in which to express your ideas and thoughts into the art making process.
In addition, colour workshops are frequently held during the art class where we cover the essential concepts of colour theory and practise.
Easels, boards and pegs are provided.
Every Wednesday morning except on school and public Holiday dates. 10.00am until 12.30pm
