Christmas Lino Printing Workshop

Join Oxford printmaker Sophie Basilevitch for an afternoon learning how to create Christmas cards from your own design in this fun and friendly hands-on workshop

No previous experience in printmaking necessary - all abilities welcome

In this workshop, learn to:

transfer your design onto a lino block
safely carve out negative space on the block
mix and roll ink onto your printing block
hand press and create Christmas cards from your relief block

All printmaking tools and materials will be included to use on the day

You can bring:
your own drawing or design
an apron or clothes you don't mind getting water-soluble ink on
short sleeves or sleeves that you can roll up

You will go home with:
Custom hand printed Christmas cards
Your original relief block to recreate the process at home

There will be plenty of time for individual tuition and guidance

Complimentary tea, coffee and mince pies will be provided
