One-day and two-day oil panting workshops, working on abstract landscapes.

These workshops will provide an opportunity for you to build confidence in your technique, find new ways of interpreting what you see and make bold advances in your practice. It will help you experiment with new ways of working and develop a fresh approach to your style, to ‘loosen up’ and increase your repertoire of mark-making. You will be encouraged to draw on observation and intuition, abandon prejudices, re-think composition and move towards abstraction. One day workshops give you a taster, but working over two days will allow you to make significant progress, with ample time for reflection and experimentation using a variety of media which will be provided. Both workshops will mainly focus on ways of using oil paints and oil based media to make exciting and distinctive marks. It is possible to register for any combination between one and four days.

Each day runs from 9.30 until 4.30 with 1 hour lunch. Refreshments and some materials will be provided. Suitable for all levels.
Numbers limited to a maximum of 6 per session to allow for plenty of individual support.
