West Ox Arts is proud to present the first retrospective exhibition of some of the world’s most iconic photographs from the 1970s and 80s selected from the portfolio of the award-winning TIME and Newsweek photojournalist, Peter Jordan. Signed limited editions of each of the 60 framed images will be on sale in museum quality. More information at www.peterjordan.photos.

Peter, who moved to Bampton from his home in Italy a few years ago, has worked with hundreds of world leaders, and his photos have been seen on the covers and in some of the world’s most prestigious titles, and in some cases their visual impact can truly be said to have influenced world affairs. Among these memorable images are the photograph of the Anti-Apartheid activist, Steve Biko, lying in his coffin; the image of Margaret Thatcher, headscarf on, standing in the turret of a Chieftain tank, goggles down, looking every inch the leader of her nation and the desolation captured in the tragic aftermath of the bombed US Marine Base at Beirut Airport in 1983 - the Marines standing in the rubble among the dead and dying.
