Austrian tenor Ilker Arcayürek has been described by The Guardian as ‘in a class of his own’, and Opera Now wrote of him, in their list of Top Ten Rising Stars, as a ‘golden and natural lyric tenor’. We are delighted that he will give his Festival debut with the world-renowned pianist Hartmut Höll. Their all-Schubert programme includes the Beethoven-inspired ‘Einsamkeit’ (‘Solitude’), as well as a number of favourite songs.
