Enjoy a day printing and silk dyeing.

Firstly you will discover the ancient art of block printing using hand-carved wooden blocks made in rural India by skilled artisans. Block printing can be used to create designs on bags, soft furnishing, clothing, lampshades and more. Experiment with colours and designs on your sampler piece and then move on to create a scarf, tote bag, apron, tea towel or why not print cards and matching wrapping paper?

In this workshop you will also learn how to silk dye fabric in a microwave.
