ART OF PLAYING: A CREATIVE RETREAT

Two-day workshop:

Join artist and facilitator Lisa Bates for a two-day workshop exploring your creativity. This experimental weekend offers time and space for play, along with ideas to find inspiration, whether you’re an established artist or cautious creative.

Day 1: 10:30am – 3:30pm (lunch break 12.30-1.30pm)

Part 1 – Warming Up

Part 2 – Getting Started: road test a range of ways to get unstuck, make a mess, or to let go of apprehensions

Day 2: 10:30am – 3:30pm (lunch break 12.30-1.30pm)

Part 3 – Why Do I Make Art?: explore what motivates you to make

Part 4 – An Artist’s Toolkit: consider the resources you need to keep your practice nourished

This class is open to all; previous experience is not required. Materials are provided within the cost of the class fee.
