Ashmolean Museum Poetry Tour in the Galleries with Diana Moore, Writer & Poet

A journey from East to West using poetry, song and script to tell fascinating Ashmolean-inspired stories.
Local writer and poet Diana Moore will be presenting a selection of poems that she's written based on art and objects in various galleries of the museum. In writing these poems, she was inspired to create a new arts-based writing and performance workshop for children and adults.
She has also published books listed below which can be used as art and poetry resources. There is music, drama, song and script bringing ideas for creative writing and scope for performing the pieces in many ways.
Audience participation welcome.
Publications:
A Visitor to the Forest - a scripted poem designed for performance, inspired by Paolo Uccello's The Hunt in the Forest.
Objects in the Ashmolean, An Art and Poetry Resource.
A Fishy Coat Tale and Other Poems, an illustrated poetry book
