Make some beautiful bunting for your home, garden or party - or as a special personalised gift!

In our relaxed, light garden studio setting, Jane Moffatt will guide you, step by step, through planning your project, selecting your fabrics, assembling and sewing.

Everyone will leave with a completed 2.5 metre length of high quality, double-sided, colourful fabric bunting suitable for a nursery frieze, room or garden decoration or family celebration. You'll be invited to personalise your bunting (with buttons, beads or appliqué, for example) and think of ideas to make it fit a room scheme or add some finishing touches that will make it the perfect gift for a friend or relative for a special occasion.

Choose from a selection of new, upcycled and recycled hand-washable cotton fabrics - bright colours, pastels, plains and patterns. Whether it's an Easter decoration, a nursery centrepiece, a new feature for the garden pergola, a beach hut summer party theme or a Christmas get-together, we have fabrics and ideas to fit the bill.

If you have time, there will also be options to create a storage bag and/or add some tassels and other decorative touches to the bunting itself. Again, materials will be provided.

This workshop is perfect for anyone with a basic understanding of sewing. Indeed, preferably, you need to have your own sewing machine (and bring it with you) and be able to sew in a straight line!
