5 linocut prints framed on a wall depicting different images of Banbury

Kitty is a printmaker and illustrator based in Bloxham. She specialises in linocut prints, having caught the bug during her access course in 2015

2018 saw exhibitions at the Jam Factory in Oxford, Church Lane Gallery in Banbury and her graduate show hosted at Banbury and Bicester College.

Scenic imprint is a collection of her landscape work, with a focus on Banbury. The main feature are 5 linocuts created for this exhibition featuring different scenes from around Banbury. These locations have formed her impression of the town since she moved here in 2010.

Kitty has also included 4 of her series ‘Good Things to Engross… near Banbury Cross’ series from 2018. These feature Banbury locations merged with their previous incarnations, and were displayed in moss bros window in march 2018.

Also featured are two from her Invicta series - a celebration of Kent, the county of her birth. Exploring the county through her childhood memories, Kitty has kept to the colours of the Kent flag as her palette.

A selection of prints are available for purchase from the browser bar.
