A Day of Mixed Media - an opportunity to explore and experiment with different media and how they work together. We will, for example, use collage, printing, acrylic paints, ink, pastels, charcoal, and collage in various combinations. Over the day we will aim to complete a range of sample work and possibly a final piece of work, looking at and discussing artists' work for inspiration.
Course aim
To provide an opportunity to explore different art media and how they mix and work with each other.
No skills or experience needed, this course is suitable for beginners and improvers.
Materials
A selection of materials and basic equipment will be provided but you are welcome to bring additional materials with you. You will need to bring some materials that you might want to use for your work.- any images for inspiration or collage papers and materials. Please bring – an apron or old clothes, basic drawing materials, a mixture of brushes and paper to work on – at least A4 preferably A3.
You will need to purchase some materials from the tutor on the day.
