An imaginative and electrifying performer, Zee Zee stands out among the young generation of pianists, her creative maturity described by the Los Angeles Times as ‘a powerful, passionate and compelling representation of pure artistry’.

Trained in her native China and the United States, Zee Zee (Zhang Zuo) has given recitals at venues such as Lincoln Center New York, Kennedy Center Washington D.C. and Wigmore Hall, London and has performed with leading orchestras. During her time as a BBC New Generations Artist, she appeared with BBC Ulster Orchestra at the BBC Proms, Royal Albert Hall and the 2016-17 season saw her as Artist in Residence with the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra.
