Learn to write a stage play!

Do you have a story to tell? A drama just longing to be shown? Then join other people like you and learn how to create a stage play.
Living the Drama (www.livingthedrama.co.uk) is a 'not for profit' company, set up in April 2015. We are based in Oxford and in addition to producing and writing plays, we run regular playwriting workshops for the older aspiring writer. Our next course starts on Jan 15th and will run every Tuesday afternoon (except March 5th), between 2.00pm – 4.00pm , for eight weeks. We’ll cover the following topics, with plenty of exercises and interaction:
• Developing a strong storyline
• Building the play’s structure
• Creating realistic characters
• Building tension and conflict following a narrative arc
• How to write naturalistic dialogue
• Formatting your script
By the end of the course you should have the first draft of your new short play!
At the time of writing there are only 4 places left! So call on 077822 59471 or email Carolyn at carolyn@livingthedrama.co.uk to confirm your place.
