These courses are for you if you would love to spend more time painting, but either don’t have the space for this at home or just find it hard to make a regular time for this in your life!

With these 10 week courses, you can really get stuck into a few different creative projects – great if find you find it hard to get started, or you tend to start but not finish things at home because life gets in the way.

They will also help you to exercise your creative muscle each week!

You could either bring along something you would like to paint, something you are already working on but would like extra help and support with, or just an open mind and a keenness to experiment with all the materials that will be on hand. I’ll be here to help and support you with whatever you would like to create.

Plus I can also suggest a whole range of ideas for you to paint if you would prefer to paint in this way. I will have a wide range of imagery (photographs and pictures of artwork) to inspire you.

You will come away from this course each week feeling relaxed, energised and feeling incredibly creatively fulfilled

You will also notice creativity sneaking into other areas of your life too – it tends to do that.

Continue to build on your painting skills and confidence, and make the art that you feel you would like to make

These mixed level workshops are suitable for anyone who has been on any of my courses or workshops before, or if you have painted a bit on a previous course elsewhere.

These painting workshops use acrylic paint – and there will be a wide range of lovely coloured paints, brushes, palette knives, textured mediums, collage materials and printing materials to use and explore. You also have the option of trying out other materials including watercolour paints and pencils, pastels and charcoal.

Each session starts off with a fun and fast warm up exercise to help you get into the zone – think the Big Painting Challenge.

The workshops are small – with up to 6 people – so you will get lots of individual support with your artwork.

What people have to say about these painting courses….

“I loved coming on Jane’s course – it was absolutely amazing and totally life changing. It really helped unlock the creative potential that I had forgotten was there and helped to transform my creative and artistic life. It was great to have that time after work, after a long stressful day, to come along and have that space where you could create, design, draw, express, try new things and be artistic, with the amazing help of Jane supporting what was happening. It was really fun and really interesting and re-opened my eyes to the world of art.” Bella Pratt

“I enjoyed coming on Jane’s evening course – it was time out every week just for me, to purely enjoy putting paint to paper, try different creative methods, and above all to have fun!” Sophia Andeh

“I’ve loved the space to experiment with painting without judgement. Here, there are no rules so you really can just try things out and see what works for you – I’ve been trying some new techniques and developing my own style so my confidence is building. Also I love having some specific space in my diary each week to spend time painting! Finally, it’s been really inspiring seeing all the different approaches and ideas the others have come.” Sarah Wyatt

“Jane’s course gives you the chance to experiment and try new things! It has helped to build my confidence, knowing that I can ask for advice when needed. It has proven to also be a warm and social environment to be arty in! I leave every session feeling like I’ve achieved something, and had the opportunity to relax and be creative.” Sophie Peet
