Termly painting courses to help you to continue to develop your painting skills – whether you are quite new to painting, or are wanting to get back into painting again

These mixed level painting courses will help you to exercise your creative muscle each week, leaving you feeling creatively fulfilled as well as relaxed and energised. Great for you if you know that you are much more likely to paint on a regular basis if you are on a course with other people, or you would like to build up your confidence to be able to paint regularly at home.

This termly course follows on nicely from my Painting: Getting Started workshops, although you may also like to join if you have studied painting before elsewhere (at any level), and would really love to get stuck back in again.

Paint whatever you would like to, at your own pace

This may seem a little broad – but – these courses are designed to help you to continue to develop your creativity. This is not the sort of course where everyone will be painting the same thing! You can choose to work on your own projects, bringing along pictures, objects and ideas for creating your own paintings.

Plus I will also be suggesting a different thing to paint every two weeks if you would prefer to work in this way. These will vary each term and will include things like using different artists as inspiration and painting a whole range of subject matter.

These painting courses use acrylic paint – and there will be a wide range of lovely coloured paints, brushes, palette knives, textured mediums, collage materials and printing materials to use and explore.

The courses are small – with up to 6 people – so you will get lots of individual support with your artwork.

What people have to say about these painting courses….

“I enjoyed coming on Jane’s evening course – it was time out every week just for me, to purely enjoy putting paint to paper, try different creative methods, and above all to have fun! I often started the class feeling tired and weary but always left feeling relaxed and calm!” Sophia Andeh

“Coming to the course was like a mini creative retreat each week. The chance to create felt energising and relaxing at the same time. I would definitely recommend this to anybody keen to make some stress-free colourful artwork in a friendly environment.” Flora Fergusson
