Oil Painting
Oil painting, the most flexible & versatile of all media. We will explore the history of oil painting with examples from old & modern masters. Investigate different materials and studying direct painting, painting in stages, working thin and with impasto, palette knife painting, basic colour theory and colour mixing, effects, light & shade, three dimensions, distance etc. This is a mixed ability course.
