This workshop is aimed at beginners to Blender 3D modelling software. Ideal for artists who would like to start using 3D modelling to create artwork. It is the perfect introduction to the software for anyone looking to create 3D models for animation, virtual reality or rendering digital images. Artist Tom Milnes will introduce the basics of the Blender environment as well as simple ways to create, edit and render 3D objects. There will also be an opportunity to map textures and explore the basics of animation.

Blender is a free to use professional graphics software, applications of the program range from creating animation to 3D printed models.

Participants will need to bring their own Laptop. All software used will be free and cross-platform (Windows, macOS or Linux).

Tutor: Tom Milnes

Tom Milnes is an artist and curator of online platform Digital Artist Residency. Milnes was recently the JOYA: arte + ecologia artist-in-residence, was selected for the MOSTYN Open and has over 5 years of teaching experience.

COST: £50 (£40 for OVADA Associates)
