This choir will bring together women of all ages, background and experience to sing in the wonderful Great Hall at the Abbey.
You don't have to read music as all teaching is by ear in an accessible and flexible way.
There are no folders of music or uniforms. It's not classical , it's not Barbershop, it's not scary! Whether you've enjoyed being in a choir before, you're a little rusty , you're a complete novice or perhaps you're just curious. I invite anyone to come and join us in harmony.
We'll be singing gentle and uplifting songs from the world-song and folk traditions and especially new compositions by living composers who work with un-accompanied voice from the Natural Voice Network.
Two workshops in July are just for fun.
Later in the year we will prepare a concert in the Abbey for Autumn and a winter Solstice event.
You are welcome to come along any time and join us. Meetings are on the first and third Thursday evenings of the month.
