Calling Oxfordshire artists!
Would you like to show your art to a wider audience than family and friends?
Considering holding/taking part in an exhibition next year & wondering how to go about it?
Would you like to be part of Oxfordshire Artweeks & enjoy a share of 100,000 visitors in May 2019 (4th-27th)? The deadline for registering is 31st December and this informal talk and Q&A session is designed to get you thinking ahead in plenty of time.
Join Esther Lafferty, Festival Director of Oxfordshire Artweeks, for an informal session in October on the things to consider as you plan ahead for an exhibition and about the Oxfordshire Artweeks festival in May. Discover what it provides for its artist-members and how it might help you build a profile, sell your work and progress your career, and hear the experiences of several local artists who have exhibited both in and out of Artweeks.
You’ll have the chance to get ideas on how and where you might exhibit, whether from your home, or another venue; to ask questions about planning ahead and about whether Artweeks is for you; and to network with other artists, both those considering exhibiting next year and those who have previously taken part.
This is one of a series taking place across Oxfordshire:
Cornerstone Arts, Didcot; Thursday 4th Oct 2018 7.30pm-9.00pm
The Jam Factory, Oxford; Monday 8th Oct 2018 7pm-8.30pm
The Mill, Banbury; Monday 15th Oct 2018 7pm-8.30pm
West Ox Arts Gallery, Bampton; Thursday 1st November 2018 7pm-8.30pm
These events are free – however, please confirm your place to artweeks@artweeks.org so we can contact you if any details change.
Thank you.
