Creating, making and taking part... there's something in the air!
Bicester Festival, organised by Cherwell District Council in partnership with Bicester Town Council, Bicester Village, OYAP and OneBicester, will take place on Saturday, 16 and Sunday, 17 June. Highlights include performances by Reggae on the Rock, Zest Theatre, Aerialists Rogue Play and a choreographed kite ballet performed by The Airheads Kite Team.

The event starts on Saturday at 10am in the town centre. Market Square will be at the heart of Bicester Festival, with dance, music and theatre performances running for nine hours from 12pm until 9pm. On Sunday the festival moves to Whitelands Farm Sports Ground where people can fly their kites as well as enjoying a kite flying show by The Airheads.

All the events are free to attend, but some have limited spaces. Therefore, people are invited to arrive early to book their place. More information about individual events will be released on Bicester Festival’s social media channels on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/BicesterFestival/ Twitter at www.twitter.com/BicesterFest , Instagram at www.instagram.com/bicesterfestival .

Market Square will be closed to the town centre. In order to avoid congestion, residents are encouraged to leave their car at home and come to the event on foot, by bike or public transport.
